FRANKLIN COUNTY — The following is the Franklin County Sheriff’s report for May 22-29:

5/22/2015: Deputy Burke investigated a report of a green Subaru being operated erratically on the Reed Road in Salem Township.

5/23/2015 Corporal Bean, Deputy Bernhardt and Deputy Burke assisted Livermore Falls PD and State Police with a robbery at Rite Aid in Livermore Falls. The subjects were located in Chesterville on the Borough Road.

5/24/2015: Deputy Brann, Corporal Bean and Deputy Zecher responded to Mile Hill Road in New Sharon for a report of a domestic disturbance. As a result of the investigation, Ivan Davis of New Sharon was arrested for violation of conditions of release E (from a previous domestic assault at the residence), domestic violence assault D and domestic violence criminal mischief D.

5/24/2015: Deputy Zecher assisted Maine Warden Brock Clukey with an ATV accident near the Oxford County line Byron.

5/24/2015: Deputy Morgan conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Strong; as a result of the stop he arrested the driver, Benjamin Flagg for violation of conditions of release E and possession of scheduled drugs E.

5/25/2015: Deputy Zecher responded to the Rangeley Road in Avon regarding a request to remove a subject.

5/25/2015: Corporal Bean and Deputy Brann responded to Zion’s Hill Road in Chesterville regarding a domestic disturbance. The complainant was having a heated verbal argument with her son in her driveway. After Deputies arrived the complainant became belligerent towards the Deputies. No charges were filed.

5/25/2015: Corporal Chase responded to a report of a suicidal 16-year old on the Carthage Road in Carthage. The 16-year old was transported to Franklin Memorial Hospital by Chase for an evaluation.

5/25/2015: Deputy Morgan assisted Trooper Bond with a domestic violence assault which occurred on the Dodge Road in Phillips. Vicki Garland was arrested by Trooper Bond for domestic violence assault.

5/25/2015: Deputy Burke assisted Wilton PD removing a subject from a residence on the Weld Road.

5/26/2015: Deputy Morgan and Officer Rosie of Farmington PD worked together to stop a driver who had been reportedly driving erratically early in the morning almost hitting a school bus on Mile Hill Road in New Sharon. Officer Rosie stopped the car being operated by Jonathan Cummings, who was arrested for OUI.

5/26/2015: Deputy Burke responded to Burbank Hill Road in Strong regarding a suicidal male. Burke transported him to Franklin Memorial Hospital for an evaluation.

5/26/2015: Deputy Bernhardt, Corporal Chase and Wilton Officer Daley conducted a bail check on the Borough Road in Chesterville. As a result of the check, Christopher Coulter of Chesterville and Jeffrey Johnson of Wilton were arrested for violation of conditions of release.

5/27/2015: Deputy Bernhardt received a call to remove a subject from a residence in Avon.

5/27/2015: Deputy Morgan responded to a tractor trailer accident which occurred at 3:30 a.m. on Route 4 in Avon. A Thorndike truck was hauling logs and being operated by Steven Boyd Jr. of Phillips. The unit was traveling northbound and failed to negotiate a sharp turn causing the entire unit to overturn spilling its contents onto the road and also striking a local residence causing some of the logs to enter the house.

The driver was injured and transported to Franklin Memorial Hospital. Phillips Fire units were at the scene assisting. According to Deputy Morgan, excessive speed was a factor in the crash.

5/27/15 11:33 a.m.: Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office received a call of a driver traveling south on Route 27 in a blue pickup at a high rate of speed passing cars on the left and right.

Deputy Hartley received the call and encountered the blue ford pickup at the intersection of Route 27 and 4 in Farmington and was almost hit head on by the south bound driver. Hartley turned and followed the vehicle into Farmington where speeds of up to 75 mph in a 30 mph zone were recorded.

The driver lost control at “Horns Corner” near the WWI monument crashing into three cars that were parked in the parking lot of ACME Engineering and Medulla Hair Salon. A fourth parked vehicle was also damaged by a sign which was struck by the offending throwing it into that vehicle.

The driver who was identified as a 17-year old from Eustis received injuries as a result of the accident and was transported to Franklin Memorial Hospital for medical and psychological evaluation. The juvenile is facing driving to endanger charges as well as eluding an officer.

5/28/2015: Deputy Morgan assisted the Wilton Police Department with a domestic disturbance.

Deputies conducted seven Elder Checks during this period. Deputies conducted 59 building checks during this reporting period. All were secure.
