AUBURN — Herbert “Butch” Mayo Davis Jr., 55, passed away in his home on Saturday, May 30. He was the husband of Ruth (Taylor) Davis and the son of Herbert Davis Sr. of Auburn and the late Sandra Lemay.

Butch loved hunting and fishing, and he was a fan of the Red Sox and Redskins. He was also a CB’er. All those who knew “Jersey” will miss him.

Besides his loving wife of 28 years and his father, Butch leaves his son, Michael Fogg and his wife, Liza Fogg, of Poland; and his daughter, Kerrie (Fogg) Forget and her husband, Greg, of Buckfield. Herbert also leaves his sisters, Cynthia Walker of Auburn, and Valerie (Davis) Rowe and her husband, Armand, of Hartford. He also leaves his grandchildren, Jacob Fogg of Poland, and Abbie and Noah Forget of Buckfield; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
