1921 – 2015

AUBURN — Roger E. Patry, 94, of Lewiston passed away Monday, June 1, at the Androscoggin Hospice House following a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston on March 12, 1921, the son of Joseph and Marie (Boucher) Patry. He was a graduate of Lewiston High School and later attended Bliss College.

Following his schooling, he served his country during World War II in the U.S. Air Corps from 1942 to 1945.

After his service to his country, he owned and operated Roger’s Ceramic Studio for several years. Then he worked for W.T. Grant for many years and later for the Maine Turnpike Authority as a toll booth attendant until his retirement.

He is survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his beloved Theresa Parent; his brothers, Alfred, Leo and Neopold; and his sisters, Aliette Rocheleau, Bernadette Nadeau and Emma Patry.

A thank you to the Androscoggin Hospice House and a special thanks to Kathleen Langelier for the wonderful care she provided to Roger during his last days.
