WASHOUGAL, Wash. — Helen I. Shaw, 91, peacefully passed away at her home in Washougal, Wash., on Monday, April 6.
She was born on Sept. 14, 1923, in Mount Holly Springs, Pa., to Charles E. and Hazel Ilgenfritz.
A former resident of Maine, Helen worked in customer service in the health care industry. She and her husband, Fernald Shaw, were members of the United Methodist Church in Minot. Helen was an avid reader and also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Fernald “Fern” Shaw; daughter-in-law, Cheri Shaw; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Shaw.
