DIXFIELD — The Police Department responded to 87 calls for service from June 1 to 17. Among them were the following:

* At 7 p.m. June 17, a Dixfield resident reported someone entered their property and took items, including jewelry and other valuables. An adjoining apartment was also burglarized and similar items taken. The case is under investigation.

* At 8 p.m. June 15, a Dixfield resident reported someone broke into a storage unit and took nearly $2,000 worth of items. Police Chief Jeffrey Howe said Monday that there is a possible suspect in this case.

* At 7:50 a.m. June 11, two vehicles collided at Main and Weld streets. Nicole Couture, 45, of Peru, was driving east on Main Street in her 2006 Hyundai on Main Street to turn north onto Weld Street. Her car was struck from behind by a 2015 Kia driven by Undina Williamson 40, of Rumford. There were no injuries and both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene, Howe said.

* At 10 p.m. June 3, a Highland Avenue resident reported a possible prowler at the residence. The responding the officer didn’t find anyone during a search.

* At 7 p.m. June 1, a Pine Street resident reported someone burglarized her home and stole several small items. The case is under investigation.
