LEWISTON — Ellen Remington, 67, of Lewiston, passed away Wednesday, June 17, at Marshwood Center nursing home with her family by her side.
She was born in Rumford on March 11, 1948, the daughter of Robert and Janet Clifton. She worked for many years at d’Youville Pavilion and Montello Manor as a certified nursing assistant.
She is survived by her daughters and their companions, Kimberly and John Wagg of Bowdoin and Janet Remington and Scott Provencher of Mechanic Falls; her son, William Remington of Monmouth; grandchildren, Christopher, Maryellen, Cricket, Damien, Brian and Steven; great-grandson, Carter Jacob; and her brother, James Clifton of Maryland.
