1941 – 2015
AUBURN — Simone M. (Levesque) Deschaine, 73, of Clover Manor, 440 Minot Ave., Auburn, died Sunday, July 5.
She was born in Grand Isle, Aug. 24, 1941, a daughter of the late Alfred and Annie (Cote) Levesque and was educated in Madawaska schools. She was married to Roger Deschaine, who predeceased her on June 26, 2008. She was also predeceased by a son, Luke Deschaine of Manchester, N.H, in 2008.
Simone was a member of Holy Trinity Church of Lisbon Falls. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and collecting recipes.
Mom will be remembered for love of card games with the kids and her love for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen H. Deviolini and husband, Robert, of Chula Vista, Calif., Diane Dillon and husband, William, of Yarmouth; a son, Roland Deschaine and wife, Iris, of Ettlingen, Germany; grandchildren, Bianca, Jenny and Christina Deschaine and Hadley and Patrick Dillon; several sisters and brothers; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Clover Health Care and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for their care, empathy and love.
