FRANKLIN COUNTY — The following is the Franklin County Sheriff’s report for the week of July 4-10:

7/4/2015: Corporal Chase investigated a car vs. building complaint at Anni’s Market in Kingfield. The driver of a Toyota Pickup had his accelerator stick as he pulled in causing his vehicle to ram the supports of the deck of the building.

7/4/2015: Deputy Zecher investigated a single vehicle accident on the Salem Road in Salem. The driver lost control as he traveled east bound causing the vehicle to cross the road and roll over several times into a swamp. The vehicle contained three Indian nationals who were in a rental car from Connecticut.

7/4/2015: Deputy Zecher investigated yet another complaint of noise on the Fish Hatchery Road in Salem.

7/4/2015: Corporal Bean assisted the Maine Forestry Service by arresting Robert Woodham (40) of Lewiston on a warrant after he was found by Forestry Officers in Letter E Township.

7/5/2015: Deputy Burke investigated a report of gunfire on Dutch Gap Road in Chesterville. It was determined that a resident there was shooting skeet on his own property.

7/5/2015: Corporal Bean investigated a single vehicle accident on the Dixfield Road in Weld. A 17-year old was distracted while making adjustments to a radio thus losing control of her vehicle which caused it to rolling over. The driver sustained minor injuries.

7/5/2015: Corporal Chase assisted FMH with a transportation request.

7/5/2015: Corporal Chase assisted Wilton Police with an investigation of vandalism to an above ground pool on High Street. A juvenile was found and charged with the crime.

7/6/2015: Deputy Burke responded to a car vs. moose accident on Mile Hill Road in New Sharon. The car received significant damage, and the moose ran away.

7/6/2015: Corporal Chase responded to a 911 hang-up call on the New Vineyard Road in New Vineyard. It was determined to be an accidental call.

7/7/2015: Deputy Burke investigated a harassment complaint on Avon Valley Road in Avon.

7/7/2015: Corporal Chase conducted a welfare check on the Industry Road in Industry.

7/7/2015: Deputy Burke responded to Gilkey Hill Road in Freeman regarding a report of trees in the roadway.

7/7/2015: Deputy Burke and Corporal Chase investigated a report of an assault on Cape Cod Hill Road in New Sharon.

7/8/2015: Corporal Reid recovered two bicycles found on Cape Cod Hill Road in New Sharon.

7/8/2015 Deputy Hartley responded to a trespass complaint in New Sharon on Bailey Hill Road.

7/8/2015: Deputy Hartley responded to a report of a dog left in a car in Strong. The owner had the windows down and started the car for a/c.

7/8/2015: Deputy Burke conducted a welfare check on the York Hill Road in New Sharon.

7/9/2015: Corporal Reid responded to a car vs. deer accident on the River Road in Avon. The deer died at the scene and the car sustained reportable damage.

7/9/2015: Deputy Bernhardt conducted a probation check on the Smith Rd in New Sharon. As a result, Amber Ladd was arrested for a warrant and Jason Ladd was arrested for Violation of Conditions of Release.

7/9/2015: Deputy Hartley arrested Greg Dowling on a warrant on Cape Cod Hill Road in New Sharon.

7/9/2015: Corporal Chase responded to a disturbance on the Earl Road in Farmington.

7/10/2015: Deputy Bernhardt responded to a 911 hang up complaint on the Falls Road in Carthage. There have been several calls from this location and it appears to be a computer issue.

7/10/2015: Deputy Bernhardt responded to a report of a male in a car watching two young girls in the park in Wilton.

Deputies conducted six Elder Checks during this period. Deputies conducted 57 building checks during this reporting period. Two were found to be unlocked.
