Resume and Interview Skills Class
LEWISTON — The Lewiston and Auburn Public Libraries have partnered with the Lewiston CareerCenter to provide a free monthly Resume and Interview Skills workshop. The workshop will take place one Wednesday each month and alternate between the Lewiston and Auburn Public Libraries.
The workshop will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Auburn Public Library and from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Lewiston Public Library. The classes will alternate locations each month through the end of the year.
The workshop provides an in-depth exploration of job searching, from resumes and applications to interviews. Participants will learn how to stand out in a positive way by marketing themselves, in person and on paper, in a way that directly matches employer needs. “Tough” interview questions will be discussed so that they can be answered with confidence.
The class is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Those planning on attending should call the CareerCenter to register at 207-753-9066.
