1937 – 2015
NORWAY — Robert Wallace Lagueux of 683 Waterford Road passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Monday, Aug. 3. He was 78.
Born in Portland on June 18, 1937, he grew up in the Norway-Bridgton area. He graduated from Norway High School in 1957.
Robert had fond memories of living with his Uncle Walter, Aunt Kay and cousin, Jackie Niemi, in North Norway. He was employed at A.C. Lawrence Leather and Hudson Bus Lines. He served as grand chancellor of the Knights of Pythias, Grand Domain of Maine from 1989 to 1990.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elaine (Barker). He is remembered as an adoring father by his two children, Michelle and her husband, Sean Murphy, of North Berwick, and Robert and his wife, Aya, of Fukuoka-Ken, Japan.
