AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Division at Central Maine Community College will offer a Human Resources Boot Camp from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays, Sept. 18 and 25.
This interactive and informative program is designed for individuals new to the field and for HR generalists, managers and supervisors from any type of business or nonprofit. This introductory course will offer an overview of HR roles and responsibilities and provides critical information to help reduce lawsuit exposure and improve employee management skills. Topics include: HR management, recruitment and selection, employee development, performance management, employment law and compensation and benefits.
The course will be facilitated by Beverly MacCallum, HR business partner and assistant vice president at Androscoggin Bank.
Deadline for registration is Sept. 9.
