LEWISTON — Sweetser, a nonprofit mental health organization with locations throughout Maine, has recently opened a new location at 217 Main St., Suite 302, in Lewiston.
Sweetser’s mental health and substance abuse services are available for clients of all ages, including adult and child case management, outpatient therapy and medication management. Referrals and appointments can be made through the PromiseLine at 1-800-434-3000.
Walk-in clients for same-day access can also be seen at the new Lewiston location. Same-day access provides new clients an immediate opportunity to access a behavioral health professional, who can provide them with an assessment and match them with appropriate services and assistance needed. Business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays.
