The Lewiston High School Class of 1955 held its 60th reunion at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston on Aug. 1 where a buffet dinner was held with musical entertainment by the Just Us vocal group. Five easels were set up with color photos depicting the changes in the Lewiston-Auburn area since graduation. A memorial board displayed photos of the 88 deceased classmates. A memory book of clippings from classmates’ activities since graduation and also the obituaries of deceased classmates was available. Classmate the Rev. Fr. William Gahagan delivered the invocation. Norm Laplante, reunion chairman, was the MC and introduced Fred Hall, class president, who addressed the group. Songs from the ’50s were featured. The evening concluded with singing the Lewiston High School song. Gahagan, Beverly Valento Clark, Marcel Dagneau, Ray Charest, Connie Gladu Traynor, Joanne Pauze Bergeron, Dorothy Lapointe Lecompte, Bob Clifford, Charlene Cyr Hall, Norm Laplante, Sandra Fisher Fournier, Janice Goudreau Plourde and James Wood.
