EASTPORT — Maine police say they are still investigating the death of an Eastport man that they have described as suspicious.

Police identified the man on Monday as 75-year-old Maurice Harris. They say his body was found in his house last week.

Police say the state medical examiner in Augusta is conducting an autopsy and more work is needed to determine the cause of death. Detectives say Harris lived alone in his house. He lived in Eastport for 45 years.

The detectives say unresolved questions remains.
