Hospitality Scholarship Tournament

The fourth annual ACF/Fish Bones Hospitality Scholarship Tournament will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20, beginning at 9 a.m. at Martindale Country Club.

Registration begins a3t 8 a.m. with a breakfast. The cost of the tournament is $100 per person or $400 per team. The $100 fee will include golf with a cart and a food court.

The tournament also includes an award reception, raffles and a 50/50 cash advance.

If paying by credit card, you can call Fish Bones American Grill at 207-333-3663.  The field is limited to 144 golfers who paid in full.

Hoop officials class

The International Association of Approved Basketball Officials IABBO 21 will be holding rules instruction for prospective basketball officials. Candidates must be 18 years of age to take the test and work in the 2015-2016 season. If you have played the game, and still enjoy being involved, and would like to make extra money, this might be a good outlet for you.

Hunter Safety Course

The Western Maine Fish & Game Club will sponsor a Hunter Safety Course on September 26 and 27, 2015 from 8:00am to 4:00 p.m. Registration is first come, first served, starting at 7:30am on September 26th. The cost is $5.00 for the weekend. The class will be held at the Western Maine Fish & Game Club, 1026 Norway Road (Route 117), Harrison Maine The clubhouse is located just past the Harrison Transfer Station. Students 10 – 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Any student under the age of 18 must have a parent’s signature on the registration form. Students must attend both days to pass course. Students are reminded not to bring ammunition or firearms to the class. Refreshments will be available. FMI contact Arlin @ 583-4535.
