SACO — Sweetser will host its second annual Cycle for Sweetser family bicycle ride Saturday, Sept. 26.

The ride begins and ends on Sweetser’s campus, 50 Moody St., and takes place entirely on the Eastern Trail. Individuals can choose from three distances, A 2-mile kids’ ride, 8 miles or 14 miles.

The individual adult fee is a $25 donation, or a family rate of $60. All children 12 and younger ride for free.

Riders are also encouraged, but not required, to set up their own fundraising page after registering. The top three fundraisers will win a special prize. Those who raise $100 or more will receive free entry for the 2016 event.

Registration and check-in for preregistered bicyclists will open at 8:30 a.m. The rides will begin at 10 a.m. Post-ride activities include refreshments, apple cider pressing and tasting, a bike rodeo, farm tours, face painting and music.

Proceeds will benefit Sweetser.
