FARMINGTON — The Farmington Downtown Association announces the date for its fifth annual Ladies’ Day Out: Saturday, Oct. 24.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Farmington downtown businesses and organizations will offer retail and dining specials and some well-deserved pampering. This year’s event will have a special focus on self-care, with a Women’s Lifestyle Expo, free yoga classes, DIY and wellness talks, massage and acupuncture.
Check-in for the day’s events starts at 10 a.m. at The Calico Patch. Goodie bags are available to the first 250 women to check in.
New this year are free yoga classes at the North Church and a series of talks on wellness and DIY at Enchanted Herbs and Botanicals.
Back this year is the Women’s Lifestyle Expo in the back room of The Homestead. The public can meet the businesses, organizations and providers that help to make women’s lives better.
Some local wellness providers will hold open houses. Mary Lello will offer mini acupuncture treatments at Cristi Demarco Acupuncture on Front Street. Emily Bilodeau will have her annual open house at Serenity Holistic Massage.
Back by popular demand, tea at the Octagon House will be held at 1 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Farmington Historical Society.
No Parents Allowed Clubhouse will provide child care during Ladies’ Day Out. To preregister a child at the special $20 rate, contact Natasha at [email protected] or call 207-612-1342. Drop-in spots will be $25 while space lasts.
