Spring Rock, a 20-unit affordable housing complex for low-income seniors at 802 Church Hill in Leeds, celebrated its 25th anniversary on Sept. 17. The complex opened in May 1990 and was built by Elderly Housing Development and Housing Corp. The anniversary celebration included Steve Petroulis, president and CEO of EHDOC; John Moran, board member, Readfield; Joseph Cabral, community manager; and a proclamation by Joyce Pratt of the Leeds Town Office. Residents were joined by supporters from the Leeds area for a dinner to celebrate the collaborative efforts that have made the community a success.
