AUBURN — Old-time jigs and reels will be featured at Schooner Estates’ annual craft fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at 200 Stetson Road.
Playing an assortment of traditional French Canadian, Irish, Scottish and New England tunes will be accordion player Normand Gagnon; guitarist, mandolin player and banjo player Don Cunningham; fiddler Aya Wakita; and other folk musicians.
They are appearing at the invitation of the Maine Folque Co-op, which will sell potted plants to help support the organization’s youth music program.
The craft fair will be in the Village Green area. Attendees should use the main entrance in Castine House next to the visitors parking lot. More information on the fair, which is a benefit for Camp Sunshine in Casco, is available by calling Schooner Estates at 784-2900.
