The report says forest rangers across the state are reporting 70 percent to 100 percent leaf color and 50 percent of the leaves dropping.
“Now is the time to grab your cameras and get outdoors. Maine is surrounded by the beautiful colors of fall with just enough green in many of the oaks to make for spectacular photography,” said Gale Ross, fall foliage coordinator.
