AUBURN — Craig Dickson of Investment Executives Inc., along with Central Maine Community College, Corporate and Community Services, is offering a course titled Tax-Free Retirement.
The October edition of the Maine Money Academy will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at CMCC, room K107, 1270 Turner St. Cost is $19.
The presentation focuses on helping people navigate ways to establish tax-free money for retirement. Attendees will be shown how a Roth IRA and life insurance can be powerful tools to create tax-free money in retirement and the steps needed to establish those accounts. Each participant will analyze their situation to find out if either life insurance or a Roth IRA is viable, and discuss case examples about how payout options may be used in both cases.
The class is open to anyone and participants should know their current income level as well as their discretionary income so they can meaningfully participate in the case study and investment discussions.
