Lewiston Bridge Club winners

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners of the annual Club Appreciation Pairs Game on Oct. 26 were, tied for first and second, Cynthia and Bill Clifford with Rosemarie and Tom Goodwin; third, Nancy Farmer and Luke Merry; and fourth, Lorry Letourneau and Bev St. Germain.

Winners of the Club Appreciation Pairs Game on Oct. 27 were, first, Jeanine Kivus and Fred Letourneau; second, Jan and Vern Arey; third, Nancy Farmer and Hazel Glazier; and fourth, Luke Merry and Mike Quinn.

Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is guaranteed and all bridge players are welcome.

Christmas craft fair Nov. 7

AUBURN — Barker Mill Arms will host a Christmas Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in the community room, 143 Mill St.

There will be a 50/50 raffle and a chance to win food baskets and door prizes.

The kitchen will be open offering donuts, coffee, hot dogs, beans, meat pie, chips and soda. Homemade baked goods will also be for sale.

Grange hosts bean supper

DANVILLE — Danville Junction Grange will host a bean supper on Saturday, Nov. 7.

Take-out only bean supper

LEWISTON — The Holy Cross Knights of Columbus Council 12652 will have a take-out only bean supper Saturday, Nov. 7.

Beans, coleslaw, buns, ham, bologna and desserts will be served.

Those interested may purchase a package deal with prices ranging from $8 to $10 or single item à la carte with a variety of prices.

Those interested may call in their orders after 12 p.m. on the day of take-out at 207-212-5163.

Diners can call ahead or just stop by and pick up their orders anytime between 3 and 5:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Church Hall, 1080 Lisbon St.

Model Railroad Club to meet at new location

TOPSHAM — The Great Falls Model Railroad Club of Auburn will hold its annual fall model train show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Mt. Ararat High School. This is a change of location.

The train show features many model railroad layouts with new sections created by students in the railroad club’s classes taught through the Auburn Adult Education program.

Sales will include new and used model railroad items by dealers throughout New England and Train Time videos produced by the local railroad club.

Refreshment sales will benefit Mt. Ararat Boosters Club.

Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children younger than 15.
