NEWRY — The Board of Selectmen next week will continue discussion on obtaining a new veterans memorial.
The board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in the Town Office.
Chairman Gary Wight said previously that the town has memorial plaques recognizing veterans of World War II, but it doesn’t list their names or the names of those who served in other wars. The plaques are outside the Town Office.
The board will also review applications for town administrator during an executive session.
Other items on the agenda include discussion of town roads and the Tri-Town Transfer Station used by Bethel, Newry and Hanover.
