AUBURN — Conservation Commission meeting, 6 to 9 p.m. on the second floor of Auburn Hall.

LEWISTON — City Council workshop and meeting in Council Chamber on the bottom floor of City Hall. The workshop begins at 5:30 p.m. with a pair of executive sessions and a 6:30 p.m. presentation of the proposed Farewell School expansion. The meeting follows at 7 p.m. and topics include the Farwell expansion, replacing a police vehicle, union contracts and covering city clerk costs managing Lewiston elections.

AUBURN — School Committee meeting, 7 p.m. in Council Chamber of Auburn Hall; on agenda: Assistant Superintendent Michelle McClellan will give report about Maine’s Count ME initiative to boost school attendance.

THURSDAY, Nov. 19

LEWISTON — Mayoral debate with Mayor Robert Macdonald and challenger Ben Chin, 6 p.m. at City Hall. Moderated by Heidi Sawyer, Abdikadir Negeye and Melissa May Stevens, debate sponsored by “Lewiston Rocks the Vote” Facebook group. Runoff election is Dec. 8.
