PORTLAND — Rosemary Hodgdon, 63, of Buckfield, died on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Otisfield on Sept. 1, 1952, the daughter of Jessie Bersette. She worked as at CNA at nursing homes and hospitals, including Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She married Frank Hodgdon on June 22, 1969, they enjoyed 46 years of marriage. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and crafts. She was a caregiver to all who needed her, she was a very special lady. Her family was the most important thing in the world to her.

She is survived by her husband, Frank, of Buckfield; son, Jason and his wife, Lindsday, of Buckfield and their children, Hunter David and Madison Mae; daughter, Tammy Strout and husband, Steven, of Buckfield, and their children Nicholas, Maranda, Bobby Jo and Tucker; four great-grandsons; two brothers, Lewis Martin and wife, Sandy, and Daniel Martin, all of Arizona; two sisters-in-law and best friends, Flora Blake of Oxford and Mary and Reid McLane of Rumford; and lot of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother; her sister, Becky Martin; and her brother, Leroy Martin.
