LEWISTON — Irving Faunce of Wilton has been elected to the board of directors of SeniorsPlus, the designated Western Maine area agency on aging. The announcement was made by Richard Theriault, chairman of the board.
Faunce is the administrator of Maplecrest Rehabilitation and Living Center in Madison, a 58-bed skilled and long-term care facility. He has extensive management experience in senior health care, including the development of the Alzheimer’s Care Center in Gardiner.
He is a former selectman in Wilton, where he also served on the Planning Board and Finance Committee. Faunce is a member of the Friends of Wilson Lake, the Foothills Land Conservancy and the Farmington Rotary Club.
He and his wife also own and operate the Wilton Blueberry Farm.
SeniorsPlus provides nutritional services, including Meals on Wheels, in Franklin, Oxford and Androscoggin counties. In addition, the agency offers Medicare counseling, elder case management and caregiver support.
