NORWAY — The First Universalist Church of Norway, 479 Main St., has regular Sunday services at 11 a.m. with a social hour following. Religious education youth programs and child care are available.

Sermon topics for January include:

Jan. 17 — “Where Do We Go From Here?” The Rev. Fayre Stephenson will discuss the timeliness of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s final book, “Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community?”

Jan. 24 — “What’s a Covenant Group?” Active covenant group members take us on a journey with small group ministry.

Jan. 31 — “Speaking Truth to Power.” The Rev. Stephenson will address how speaking truth to power is perhaps the oldest and most difficult of ethical challenges because to do so entails personal danger. We will explore some of the truths we fear speaking and how we overcome our fear.
