LISBON — The Planning Board will hold a workshop to discuss potential revisions related to nonresidential zones along the Route 196 corridor and villages at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Town Office.

The review is a follow-up to the completion of the Route 196 Corridor Plan and the Downtown Plan, and the land-use discussions held during those planning efforts.

Proposed zoning changes are anticipated to focus on expansion or reduction of nonresidential zones in order to take into account the vision and recommendations from the Route 196 Corridor Plan and the Downtown Plan update.

Overall, this process is not intended to propose substantial zoning changes, but rather to propose limited, appropriate amendments to village, commercial and other nonresidential zones in support of the Route 196 Plan, Downtown Plan and recent land use trends.

Zoning maps and all town plans may be found on the town’s website, www.lisbonme.org. The plans are also available at the Town Office.
