AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer a single day workshop titled Real Estate: Buying, Selling and Investing from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3.
The February edition of Maine Money Academy will focus on buying, selling and investing in real estate in Maine. Best practices will be explored and participants will analyze their situation and tolerance level to determine if they should enter the real estate market as a consumer or investor. Basic strategies to maximize purchasing power and how to explore and negotiate for the best deal will also be discussed. Case studies on how to compare properties will be examined.
