1923 – 2016
BRUNSWICK — Evangeline A. Bacha, 92, formerly of Lisbon Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 24, at the Horizons Rehabilitation Facility in Brunswick.
She was born on July 26, 1923, in Gardiner, the daughter of the late James and Olive (Small) Dunn. She grew up in the Gardiner area and attended local schools there. She was a graduate of Gardiner High School, Class of 1943. After high school, she took some courses at the Kennebec School of Commerce in Gardiner.
Evangeline will always be remembered for her love of arts and crafts. She also enjoyed working on and making puzzles.
She is survived by her son, Paul Pellegrini and his wife, Becki, of Litchfield; along with her sister-in-law, Marilyn Dunn of West Gardiner. She also leaves behind four grandchildren; James, Staci, Dan and Scott Pellegrini; as well as six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Victor Pellegrini and Andrew Bacha; a brother, Richard Dunn; and a son, Peter Pellegrini.
