1947 – 2016
LEWISTON — Jack E. Gray, 68, of 271 Line Road, Leeds, died on Friday, Jan. 22, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
He was born in Portland on July 10, 1947, the son of Elden and Henrietta Girardin Gray. He was employed for many years at the paper mill in Winthrop. He later worked at Hurricane’s Deli and the Meadows Nursing Home, where he met and fell in love with his wife, the former Ursula Cedre.
Jack loved to fish and enjoyed spending time on and around the Winthrop area lakes.
Besides his loving wife of Leeds, he is survived by a son, Jack Gray Jr.; three daughters, Jessica, Mellisa and Lori; a brother, Bob; two sisters, Joanne and Betty; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
