Sunday River Resort in Maine has hired Heath Weatherbee as its new Director of Group Service within its Conference and Wedding department. Weatherbee brings over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry to the resort’s growing conference business. In the past year, Sunday River has seen an increase in its group, conference, and wedding traffic by almost 25 percent. A Maine native, Weatherbee returns to his home state after holding management positions with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Jackson Hole, Atlanta, and Hawaii. Prior to joining Sunday River, Weatherbee spent six months backpacking across Asia. His role at Sunday River includes managing the group service team and acting as liaison for meeting planners and on-site conference guests to ensure a positive experience for all.
