“Employer Expectations” — 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10. The workshop will cover: Creating a Great Resume, Preparing for Your Interview and Preparing for a New Job. Individual follow-ups may occur for Resume Critique as requested. Slots are limited. Call 645-5800 for more information and to register.

“MEOC-101 — Essentials of College Planning” — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11. An introduction to educational opportunities in general and MEOC services in particular. This interactive workshop touches on the four steps in the college process: admissions, financial aid, career and study skills. Call 1-800-281-3703 to pre-register.

Gateways to Employment — two sessions, 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Feb. 10; 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Feb. 24.

O*net Ability Profiler — Call for further information because this workshop requires five or more people for attendance. Results can be used to identify strengths for which more training/education is needed, and to identify occupations that fit their strengths.

The Small Business Administration will offer three workshops: Starting Your Own Small Business, Access to Capital and Federal and State Resources for Small Business. These workshops are two hours long. For more information, call Bill Card at: 207-622-8555

Resume and Interviewing Skills will be held from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, Region 9 Adult Education, Mexico. Explore the basics of resumes and applications and learn how to make a resume and interview stand out in a positive way. Call 207-645-5800 to sign up.
