The Orono Town Council & School Board Candidates’ Night will be held on Wednesday, February 24 from 7-9 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers, 59 Main Street.
Your attendance is important: the Town Councilors and School Board members approve the spending of your tax dollars for schools, snow plowing, trash removal, police and fire protection, housing code enforcement, zoning, etc. Come February 24 to ask questions and get to know the candidates.
To submit your questions for the candidates during the event, call in at 889-6905 or email [email protected]. You can also attend in person or watch on Cable Channel 7.
Also, remember to vote on Tuesday, March 8 at the municipal and referendum election from 7 a.m.-8 p.m., also inm the Town Council Chambers. There is only one polling place for this election.
