SABATTUS — The Democratic caucus for the town of Sabattus will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at the Town Hall.
Democrats will caucus to declare their presidential preference and to elect delegates to the Maine Democratic Convention in May.
To participate in the caucus, people must be registered Democrats. Those currently registered in different parties must enroll in the Democratic Party by Friday, Feb. 19. Unenrolled voters may register as Democrats on the day of the caucus from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
A food drive will be held at the caucus. The donations will be distributed to Loaves and Fishes and the Community Baptist Church in Sabattus.
To request an absentee ballot, go to mainedems.org. Ballots must be returned by 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 2.
