BETHEL — Community Concepts Finance Corp. is offering a workshop titled Search Engine Optimization: Maximizing the Visibility of your Website.

It will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 17, at the Bethel Inn Resort, 21 Broad St.

A business website is one of the most important tools a company owns for sales and customer acquisition. It is vitally important that people who are searching for products or services be able to find a business website.

Topics covered include:

• What search engine optimization used to be and what it is now;

• Factors that affect how well a site is ranked;

• Basics of search engine optimization — keyword research, unique page titles, unique META descriptions, page content, Google Analytics, web design;

• What can be done to improve a business’ rankings.

The instructor is Alisa Meggison, digital marketing manger for Nancy Marshall Communications.

The cost is $25 for members of any chamber of commerce that serves Oxford County and $30 for nonprofits and businesses that are not a chamber member.
