U.S. Senator Susan Collins has announced that Abigail Turner, a native of Bryant Pond, has been awarded a spring internship in her Portland Constituent Service Center, according to a press release. Abigail is the daughter of Bob and Sue Turner. Abigail is a second semester senior at Bowdoin College. She will graduate this May with an A.B. in Government and Legal Studies with a concentration in International Relations. She says that she looks forward to assisting both Sen. Collins and the citizens of Maine. “Abigail is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I am delighted to welcome her to my Portland Constituent Service Center,” said Collins. “I am always delighted to give students an opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”
