FREEMAN TOWNSHIP — A local man is accused of sexually abusing a girl under the age of 16 years old, according to Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr.
Detective Kenneth Charles arrested Justin M. Robinson, 21, of Freeman Township late Sunday on a felony charge of unlawful sexual contact and a misdemeanor charge of unlawful sexual touching, Nichols wrote in a news release.
A conviction on the felony charge carries up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
The Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a sexual assault at about 4:05 p.m. Sunday.
Robinson’s bail was set Monday at $1,000 cash or personal recognizance with a Maine pretrial contract. He was also ordered not to have contact with the victim and children under age 18.
