LEWISTON — A celebration of life service for Phyllis B. Cummings was held on Tuesday, March 29, at the First United Pentecostal Church of Lewiston. The Rev. Larry Roix officiated the service.

Scripture readings included St. John 11:25-26, Revelation 14:13, and St. John 14:1-6. Phyllis’ grandson, John Enos, read the obituary and Pastor Roix sang “Serenaded By Angels.” Daughter Laurie Enos shared memories and introduced special tribute music, “I Held On.” Laurie also played the piano while Heidi Sage and the congregation sang “I’m Trading My Sorrows,” “How Can I Keep From Singing,” “Evermore” and “Made Me Glad.”

Immediately following the service, all were invited to stay and enjoy refreshments at the fellowship hall of the church. Interment will take place at a later date in the spring at Turner Village Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Wiles Remembrance Center, Jay.
