MECHANIC FALLS — Mechanic Falls and Minot historical societies will hold a three-entrée community supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the Mechanic Falls Historical Society, 64 Elm St.

Roast beef, ham and turkey will be the featured courses along with homemade mashed potatoes, carrots, peas and cole slaw and homemade desserts. Cost for the supper is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger.

The society will also make the meal available to go for diners who wish to stop by, pick up their dinner and feast on it at home. Those wishing may reserve the meal by contacting 207-740-0040, 207-345-3134, [email protected] or with a a written request at the Mechanic Falls Public Library.

Proceeds from the supper will be split between the two historical societies.

The societies are seeking volunteers to assist with cleaning the building from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 16. In addition, the societies will start the cataloging process for the society holdings. 

The monthly meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at the Mechanic Falls Historical Society on Elm Street.
