1926 – 2016

BRUNSWICK — Theresa I. Leclair, 90, formerly of 15 Stewart St., Lewiston, died Thursday, April 7, at the Horizons Living & Rehab Center in Brunswick, following a long illness.

Born in Lewiston on Jan. 3, 1926, she was the daughter of Aristrede and Eva Paradis Couture. Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of ’44. On Aug. 25, 1947, she married Armand Leclair. He passed away on March 21, 2009.

She worked for many years as the office manager of Steel Service Center in Lewiston. An avid reader, Terry also enjoyed bingo and playing cards with friends. A devout Catholic, she belonged to Holy Family Church, Prince of Peace Parish and was an active member of the Holy Family Prayer Group for 40 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda and husband, Dan Hebert, of Harpswell, and Nancy St. Pierre of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Joey, Amanda, Kevin and Jenny St. Pierre, and Tim Hebert.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Michelle St.Pierre; and a son-in-law, Joseph St. Pierre.
