Weary Club meeting April 16
NORWAY — The members and friends of the Weary Club will meet for coffee at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 16.
Members should note that 8 a.m. is the meeting time for spring and summer.
Cemetery group to elect officers
MEXICO — The annual meeting of the Farrington Morton Cemetery Association will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 18, at the Mexico Congregational Church in the conference room.
The election of officers and other business will be on the agenda.
Anyone owning a lot in the cemetery is a member of the association and welcome to attend.
Earth Week indoor picnic
PARIS — Paris Public Library will host an inside picnic to honor Earth Week at noon on Monday, April 18.
In addition to bringing lunch and throw blankets to sit on, participants are asked to bring something they have made from recycled materials to show the group.
“The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein and “The Family Tree” by David McPhail will be read during lunch. Show and tell will follow with along with an Earth Week project.

Webster Cemetery Association to meet
CHESTERVILLE — The annual meeting of the Webster Cemetery Association will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, April 18, at the Chesterville Town Hall, 409 Dutch Gap Road.
Library to begin spring hours
CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The Carrabassett Valley Public Library will change to its spring hours on Tuesday, April 19.
Spring hours run until June 18. The library will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Library is closed Sunday and Monday.
Summer hours are from June 22 to Sept. 3. The library is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The library is closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Fall hours run from Sept. 6 to Dec. 17 and are the same as spring.
Garden club to meet April 19
FARMINGTON — The Mt. Blue Area Garden Club will welcome spring at its April meeting at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at Trinity United Methodist Church on Farmington Falls Road.
At 1 p.m., the club will have a Yankee swap. Those attending are encouraged to bring a garden “treasure” to swap. This is the chance for members to go through their gardening supplies and bring a treasure they no longer use to swap for a treasure they can’t live without.
Light refreshments will be served at 12:30 p.m. by hostesses Marion Hutchinson, Mary Green and Amy Palmer. All are welcome.

RUMFORD — Stephens High School Class of 1958 will have its monthly luncheon at noon on Wednesday, April 20, at Connie’s Place, 136 Congress St.
