1964 – 2016

AUBURN — Rick Provencher, 51, died on Wednesday, April 13, at the Hospice House surrounded by the love of his family. He was a resident of Mexico.

Born in Norfolk, Va., on Nov. 7, 1964, he was a son of Anthony and Marlene (Harlow) Provencher. He was a graduate of Mexico High School, Class of 1982. He worked as a field supervisor for Applied Technical Services.

Rick’s favorite times were with family and friends, fish drinking with Art, fires at Uncle Dick’s and the many gatherings with family. He loved AC/DC and any time with a good “bud.” Rick had a bond with his brothers like no other. He loved long rides, taking pictures and lived his life the way he wanted and with no regrets. Rick was truly a great man and will live on forever in our hearts and memories. In the words of Rick, “Here’s what I know: I’ll see you when I see you.”

He married Sue Hamel, the love of his life, in Rangeley on Aug. 15, 2015, who survives of Mexico. Other survivors include his parents, Anthony and Marlene Provencher of Mexico; siblings, Laurie LaPointe and her husband, Dan, of Mexico, Anthony Provencher Jr. of Biddeford, Troy Provencher and his companion, Ashley, of Rumford; his children, “Masterpiece” Angela Theriault and her husband, Nick, of Mexico; son and best friend, Raymond Martin Provencher of Rumford; daughter, Kayla Provencher of Peru; stepson, Michael Dubendris of Las Vegas, Nev.; stepdaughter and Jeopardy partner, Heather Dubendris of Raleigh, N.C.; grandchildren, little princess Alyvia Theriault, and little buddy Dylan Theriault; and nieces and nephews, Seth, Ian, Joe, Peyton, Alicia, Mike, Dale, Amy, Hannah and Addyson.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Mackenzie; and a nephew, Glendon.
