AUGUSTA — Grayson Jake Pomeroy, 46 days old, went to heaven in the arms of angels, Monday, April 18, at MaineGeneral Midical Center in Augusta, due to complications from heart surgery.
He was born March 2, 2016, in Portland, the son of Benjamin A. Pomeroy and Michaela R. Higgins. Grayson was greatly adored and loved by his family. Although Grayson’s time with his family was brief, there will be an enormous void left in their hearts.
He is survived by his parents, Benjamin A. Pomeroy of Livermore, and Michaela R. Higgins of Readfield; his brother, Preston Parlin of Readfield; maternal grandmother, Jessica Stewart and husband, Chad, of Auburn; paternal grandparents, Angel Bernardo and husband, James, of Winthrop, and Troy Pomeroy of Livermore; maternal great-grandparents, Rose Rinaldi and Guy Berthiaume of Readfield, and Robin Dalot and Greg Benson of Portland; paternal great-grandparents, Theresa Pomeroy and Donald “Buster” Pomeroy, both of Livermore Falls, Albert McLellan of Winthrop and Nancy Eaton of Belgrade; maternal great-great-grandmothers, Carol Barrett of Turner, and Gail Rinaldi of Buxton; paternal great-great-grandmother, Marielle Labbe of Wilton; maternal aunts and uncles, Kyle Gardner, Samara Anderson, Bria Anderson, Gage Stewart, and Mia Higgins; paternal uncles, Jordan Pomeroy and Riley Bernardo; as a well as many cousins, great aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Robert S. Higgins Jr.; and his uncle, Jake Pomeroy.
