LEWISTON — The YWCA Central Maine is now accepting registrations for its summer camp.

The camp runs for 10 weeks, each with a different theme. A typical day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Morning and extended care options are available.

Campers range in age from 5 to 12. Five-year-olds must have completed kindergarten.

The cost is $140 per week for members, or $150 per week for nonmembers. Scholarships are available and based on financial need.

Breakfast and lunch are provided for most weeks of camp.

The weekly themes are: Art Week, June 20 to 24; Farm Grown, June 27 to July 1; Camping Adventure, July 4 to 8; Maine Experiences, July 11 to 15; Music Mania, July 18 to 22; Mad Scientist, July 25 to 29; Olympic Challenge, Aug. 1 to 5; Wet N’ Wild, Aug. 8 to 12; Talent Week, Aug. 15 to 19; and Animal Planet, Aug. 22 to 26.

Wednesdays are adventure trip day. Trips are planned to Portland Head Light, Thomas Point Beach, Popham Beach, Waterville Water Park, Range Pond and more.

Certified lifeguards will accompany campers on trips involving swimming.
