Mystery Photo for April 14, 2016
Many of the entrants for last week’s mystery photo have walked around the pond or taken their children or grandchildren to the fishing derby in the pond or played baseball on the field in the background. This year’s derby at Pettengill Park in Auburn is scheduled for two Saturdays, May 7 and 14, for different age groups. In a random drawing of correct entries, Alice Keene was chosen as the winner. Keene lives in the neighborhood and has walked her dog and gone to youth sporting events at Pettengill Park many times during the past years, so she recognized the spot where the photo was taken immediately. Keene is the winner of a $10 Subway gift card.
