Daughters of Isabella fundraisers

JAY — The Daughters of Isabella 677 from St. Rose of Lima monthly business meeting was held April 13.

The Daughters read the minutes from the March business meeting, reported that thank-you cards were received, sent get-well cards and planned upcoming fundraisers.

The Daughters’ yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the parish hall. Items may be donated to the sale and can be dropped off between noon and 6 p.m. Friday, April 29. Clothing will not be accepted. 

The Daughters will sell Mothers Day carnations following the 8:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, May 8.

Class of 1952 to meet

BETHEL — The Stephens High School Class of 1952 will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, at the Sunday River Brewery Pub for their monthly luncheon.

Reservations are required. All classmates and guests welcome.

PARIS — The Floyd A. Harlow Jr. VFW Post 9787 will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at 58 East Main St.

Grange to host dinner, open mic

WILTON — The East Wilton Grange hosts a dinner and open mic night the first and third Wednesday of the month on Old Route 2.

The dinner begins at 5 p.m. and costs $5. Open Mic, which runs from 7 to 9 p.m., is free.
