1933 – 2016

AUBURN — Beverly L. Maxim, 83, formerly of Auburn, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, April 6.

She was born in Presque Isle on Jan., 23, 1933, the daughter of the late Frank and Helene (Stearns) Maxim. Beverly was educated in Auburn and was a graduate of Edward Little High School. She then went on to further her education at Auburn School of Commerce.

She was the secretary for the superintendent of the Lewiston School Department for many years. She enjoyed stamp collecting and spending time with her family, and loved to travel in her younger years.

Beverly spent the last years of her life with Connie and Cindy Blackwood in their Lewiston home. She was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church of Auburn.

Her family would like to say a special thank-you to Nicole Sylvester, Sandy Petruska, Beth Castania and Erica Scott for the exceptional care that they gave to Bev.

She is survived by several cousins.
