AUBURN — Carol J. Collette, 72, of Auburn, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 27, with her family by her side.
Born in Providence, R.I., a daughter of Raymond and Anna Irving, she grew up and attended Providence schools.
Carol enjoyed people, reading, cooking meals for her family and special visits with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Lewiston.
She is survived by her six children and their families, Frank Hockenbrocht, wife, Kathy Aller and children, Frank and Leeann, all of Long Island, NY, Laurie Soucy, husband, John and children, Christopher Gilbert and Kirsten Soucy of Rumford, Pamela Hockenbrocht, fiance, Wayne Worcester, of Saco, and children, Bryanne Glover and Elizabeth Ledesma of Rumford; Julie Plummer and husband, Mark, of Hermon, and children, Trevor Papsadora of Portland and Zachary Papsadora of Florida, Justina Beaulieu and children, Taylor and Bradley of South Berwick, Colleen Richards, husband, Andrew and children, Kayla Collette and Aspen Richards of Casco; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Coyne of Groton, Conn. and Rita Scribner of Coventry, R.I.; brothers, James Irving of Warwick, RI, Fr. Alfred Irving of Groton, Conn., and Edward Irving of Warwick, R.I.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edmond, in 2011; her parents; and four brothers.
The family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to her special friend, Matthew, for all his help.
