1928 – 2016

AUBURN — Constance M. (Beaulieu) Lapointe, 87, of 25 Fulton St., Auburn, passed away Wednesday, April 27, at Clover Manor in Auburn.

Born in Lewiston on Oct. 1, 1928, she was the daughter of Adelard and Zenaide (Daignault) Beaulieu. She was educated at St. Mary’s School and worked in Lewiston and Auburn shoe factories. On Oct. 1, 1955, Constance married Gerard A. Lapointe at St. Mary’s Church in Lewiston.

She loved roller-skating, gardening, playing cards, dancing, swimming and boating. But most of all, she loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne’s of St. Louis Church, Horizons 55, Convent 5D and a member of the St. Louis parish.

Constance is survived by her three sons, Donald, Richard and Daniel and his wife, Brenda. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Nicole, Adam, Brian and Juliette. She is survived by one sister, Annette Paradis; and nephew, Ronald Paradis.

Besides her parents, Adelard and Zenaide Beaulieu, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Gerard Lapointe; one brother, Romeo; and three sisters, Bertha, Yvonne and Yvette Beaulieu.
